Product & Purchasing Specialist

Our team is growing, and we’re looking for a skilled Product and Purchasing Specialist - Pet Industry to support and develop our product portfolio — from supplier negotiation to stock optimization and cross-functional coordination

What You’ll Do

  • Manage and update product data (descriptions, pricing, availability).
  • Communicate with suppliers regarding stock availability and delivery timelines, both locally and internationally.
  • Purchase goods and packaging in a timely and cost-effective way.
  • Handle product-related complaints and claims.
  • Monitor inventory levels and optimize order planning.
  • Analyze sales trends, stock turnover, and supplier performance to improve assortment and purchasing decisions.
  • Collaborate closely with logistics, marketing, and sales departments.
  • Work within internal systems to support data accuracy and operational flow.

What You Bring

  • Experience: At least 2 years in a similar role involving purchasing and product management.
  • Proven ability to manage supplier communication and complaint resolution.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel; ERP system experience is a plus.
  • Interest in pet nutrition is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical thinking and a keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Fluent in English (min. B2); additional language is a plus.
  • Ability to work in multicultural, cross-functional teams.
  • Customer-oriented mindset with a strong sense of ownership.
